Earlier this month I had the pleasure of staying here for a couple of nights myself - and oh, boy was it hard to leave once I’d settled in! The ultra-stylish, recently renovated self-catering cave comes fully equipped with all you’ll need for the perfect weekend getaway. One of my favourite features was the stand alone bath, and the wood burning stove certainly kept us toasty.

It really is a special place with so much character and lots of little surprises. Such a great use of space, and the perfect spot for someone looking for a “real” Edinburgh experience. I have a lot of clients who regularly stay in the city, and the cave will be my first port of call for recommendations and bookings. I’ll be booking a weekend again soon too!
